Are we prepared for dealing with the prospect that humanity is not the end of evolution?
Technocalyps is an intriguing three-part documentary on the notion of trans-humanism by Belgian visual artist and filmmaker Frank Theys.
The latest findings in genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, bionics and nanotechnology appear in the media every day, but with no analysis of their common aim: that of exceeding human limitations.
The director conducts his inquiry into the scientific, ethical and metaphysical dimensions of technological development. The film includes interviews by top experts and thinkers on the subject worldwide.

These guys are MAD, completely insane and if they get their way we are all doomed.

Everybody needs to watch these so they can be educated to know what we as HUMANS are up against in the coming years.

Absolutely abhorantly horrific !

"The computer allows people to be much more
powerful than they ought-to-be." ~Kirkpatrick Sale
But so does a big stick or a flint knife. [But he
had me there for awhile.]

"I wouldn't be pleased if my parents held me back
from living to be a 200-year-old with an IQ of
150;" but I might be pleased to know that my
parents kept me from getting spontaneously
sprouting a walrus tusk out of my nose from that
new genetically-spliced fingernail gene [a bargain at a govn't-financed {taxed} $$15000.99^], or letting some hacker (or the gov't) delete all my most cherished & strengthening memories, or having my slate wiped clean in an EMP attack.

Pierre de Teljardin: 'first was the "dead-world"...' the "geosphere" It was nice to see
the Eastern world's view that "rocks & such can
have a living soul" so quickly forgotten in this
vid. [was it this vid?]

"I will be the I will be" [hmmm... "man creating
God" - what a concept!!!!!!!!!!! (Truly a Satanic
dream-come-true) (And what kind of "God" needs
"to-be-created" anyway?)] Well that's his
translation; proving that if you control the
present translation, you control the past translation.

Rael: visited by an alien [our "creator"] who,
having all that technology & power at his fingertips for aeons, still has to use simple stair-steps to get out of his UFO? [Is there any way we can get a translation here of what Rael said?] ~45:50-48:00+ min.

And what is that bathroom sign? in "preparing for
the singularity" 12 min. in? "You Decide..."

Max More says "We're all stupid." But we do have a brain/body system that's worked alongside a lot of dynamic and powerful sytems in nature. We've
obviously not failed (yet).

I liken the system of technology in society as a
"snake" stretching out - those at the head are
stretching forward quickly, while those in 3rd
world countries lag far back. We are being torn
apart. Do we ever help those in the rear; except to tax and control them??
