I feel very sorry for these families but getting a prescription for a psychiatric medication from your GP and assuming the problem is going to solve itself with no further intervention is not the way to handle a potential mental illness. Even if these drugs have the possibility to raise the incidence of suicidal thoughts and tendencies, in the vast majority of the cases profiled in this documentary, the cases were mishandled at best. The grief stricken families understandably want a scape goat, and do not want  to look at their own mistakes.

If they don't think there is such a thing as a chemical imbalance, what do they think the psychiatric drugs are doing to cause depression and suicidal tendencies?

Since the woman's son was depressed to begin with, is it possible that he just committed suicide on his own, and the medications didn't have anything to do with it?

Why is she still helplessly continuing to sit there, blankly absorbing information from "experts" and not doing any critical thinking of her own? Just because she's listening to someone different now doesn't mean she's not doing anything but going along with what they are telling her.

This made me too angry. I tried to understand and get through it but had to turn it off.

Set aside for a moment that drug companies are unapologetic about their motivations in this picture.  What are these parents thinking? Sad it is that any young lives are lost however, common sense would dictate that it is the parents obligation to ask questions before giving them these drugs.  The pills did not buy themselves and fall down these poor young adults throats.

Prozac saved my life.  Anti-depressants save so many lives....many more than they put at risk.

I had a friend who was 16 and given Prozac. Almost immediately she began having suicidal tendencies. Thank you.

I think everyone who has ever either had these drugs or has known someone who has had them must be made to watch this film.

    Total enlightenment.

Thank you for making this movie.
