Apologies of an Economic Hitman

Unknown year Economics 2.41K Views 6 Comments
John Perkins was a prominent member of the top-secret team of “economic hit men”, who used fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, military coups and murder to create the global American empire after World War II. After a long internal struggle between his guilt and the fear of telling the truth, Perkins meets the daughter of an assassinated president and speaks out in front of an angry Latin-American audience.

Based on rare propagandistic material, film-noir style reconstructed sequences and exclusive filmed confessions of best selling author John Perkins (“Confessions of an Economic Hit Man”, “The Secret History of the American Empire”) this fascinating documentary sheds light on the unknown mechanisms used by the rulers of the modern world, the roots of Islamic terrorism, and the reason why most of the world’s population lives in poverty.

The definitive answer to President Bush’s question “why do they hate us?”…

  • I've known a little about John Perkins by way of Peter Joseph, and I am now more aware of these theives, liars and dispicable persons to whom we are to beleive. I do find it just a little to late. That asshole Bush should have been murdered long ago. It was his very grandfather prescott that helped to finance the nazi's. Not only did he get caught, he was charged and convicted in court. Wake up you americans; through away those bullshit history books and learn the real information that is out there. Turn off the "idiot" boxes and surf the computer. Read, decipher and act. If your not to afraid.

This world we live in is filled with too many evil minds ruling a country. As long as the rich elite stay in charge, poverty will always exist.

I bought his book and am sorry that I did, (should've checked it out of the library).  Perkins tells the story as it is, Damn The People!  Damn The Environment, They're All Ours To Kill!  O-K, so this schmuck probably "earned" as much in a year as many people earn in a decade.  Now he feels guilty so "If you BUY MY BOOK, I'll confess my sins as well as the sins of our (fascist) Corporate Government.  What I want to know Perkins, is WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ABOUT IT???
